After many times moving offices from one shop to another, finally on Tuesday (17/11) yesterday, Sinar Mas Land has a permanent office building in the Grand City Balikpapan area, or to be precise on Jl. Sinar Mas Land Boulevard Komp. Grand City Balikpapan Blok BE No. 1. The new office is called the Grand City Balikpapan Management Office. This was marked by a simple celebration as well as a thanksgiving in the form of cutting the tumpeng led by the Kalimantan & Sulawesi Division Head of Sinar Mas Land, Limjan Tambunan. Witnessed by Land Bank Kalimantan Division Head, Hengky Tjan Mogi and all management and employees.
“At the end of 2020, we were all given the gift of having new buildings and offices,” said Limjan on the sidelines of the inauguration yesterday. Limjan explained that previously since 1985 in Balikpapan, the office has always moved from one shop to another that has not been sold. Likewise, in 1995, Balikpapan Baru had moved offices as well.
“With the new office, we hope that it will be closer to the customer and of course the Grand City environment,” he said. Also most importantly, he continued, with the new office all company affairs were well coordinated. Make it a second home, as a big family of PT. Sinar Mas Wisesa. And I hope that new enthusiasm and new innovations can be realized in the remaining 2 months to achieve the company’s targets.
Limjan also said that the new office would indirectly increase the new economy in the Grand City environment. “Hopefully in the future it can invite new investors with new ventures to enter the Grand City environment,” he said. The new office building is a 2-story building with a building area of 15 m x 35 m which can accommodate 80 employees from 6 existing departments namely Construction, Estate Management, Sales & Promotion, Technical Planning, Land Bank and Finance & Accounting.
